Pomme Bakery

If I lived in Central London, you'd probably find me at Pomme Bakery every weekend. It was very quiet when we stopped in before our adventures for the day. If you also didn't know it's a Black Woman Owned business and one thing we're gonna do around these parts is support Minority Owned Businesses! It's so cute inside! There's plenty of space for you to chat with friends over your morning coffee or have a pastry while catching up on some last minute work. I ordered a flat white and their Blackberry Vanilla Jam pastry. Delicious! Flaky, flavorful and the right amount of sweetness. The flat white was also very nice. Gone too soon, if you ask me. Though keep in mind with a flat white you get more than what you'd typically get in a regular latte. I'm keeping this place in my queue for my next trip back to London.

One of the best, if not the best pastries I've had in London. And I've tried many of them. Since leaving France, I've missed good quality pastries. This place is French level quality, something surprisingly difficult to find outside of France. The baker should be proud. Decent coffee too. The baristas behind the counter were kind et pleasant The decor is modern yet rustic. Music is chill. Everyone in the area should try this place out. Et tout les français devrais manger ici aussi

I saw some foodie influencers promoting this place on Instagram so I decided to give it a try myself on a sunny Saturday while I was on a bakery hopping route on my own. I got here around 12:30 and it's half empty with a couple tables occupied. The place itself is very spacious but felt somewhat empty so I feel like it could definitely do with more tables and chairs. Although the flip side is that this created a very relaxing atmosphere where you know you can stay for a while and won't get kicked out. I think they deliberately keep it this way which is nice compared to some really jam-packed bakeries. I was too late when I got there as most of their pastries were sold out but thankfully they still had some pain au chocolat left so I got one to have in with a cup of oat flat white. OMG the pastry was absolutely insane as you can see from my photo it was crazy flaky every bite I had and it's so so moreish even though I had already had a pastry before getting here I couldn't control myself but to finish the entire pain au chocolat! This was easily the second best pain au chocolat I have had in London (I won't disclose the first place because I am gatekeeping it to avoid queues from building up haha) and I really enjoyed the flat white. It's pleasant and smooth. Staff were so friendly. They even have a bathroom downstairs which was clean and hygienic. I am definitely coming back soon and will make sure to get here early so I can try the cinnamon bun and almond croissant!

My friend wanted to try this place so we made the journey there, safe to say it was absolutely worth it! We got the almond croissant, pistachio and rose croissant and chocolate babka. My favourite was definitely the pistachio croissant, loved the buttery croissant, the generous pistachio filling and the touch of rose! The chocolate babka was also super soft and oozing with chocolate. Would love to go back and try other things when I’m in London again!
